LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT...I acknowledge that the land on which I gather and operate is in my traditional Mi’kmaw territory, and I acknowledge with respect the diverse histories and cultures of the Beothuk, Mi’kmaq, Innu, and Inuit of this province. I am grateful to those who cared for this land long before settlers of other nations immigrated to Ktaqmkuk, and I am proud to be able to work alongside all the various nations who love this land and remain loyal to her well-being.

Evening Sky Design is an Indigenous-owned and operated graphic design company specializing in website design for authors, small press publishers, and other businesses. Our sister company, Evening Sky Publishing Services, specializes in book publishing services for authors and small publishers.
Between both companies, our services include website design (authors, businesses, bloggers); book cover design (eBooks, paperbacks, hardbacks, audiobooks, 3D boxsets); book promotion and marketing design (social media banners, Book Ads, etc.); book formatting and layout (ebook and print), proofreading, and more.

ABOUT KAT
Long story short...On an island in the North Atlantic Ocean, Ktaqmkuk (Newfoundland and Labrador), a land far across the waters, Kat created this venture in 2013 with the desire to help authors sell books in the wildly booming publishing industry.
Kat is an L'nu woman from Elmastukwek Ktaqmkuk who owns and operates Evening Sky Designs and Evening Sky Publishing Services.
As an avid reader, Kat had contributed to several book review blogs over the years - Smitten With Bad Boy Heroes, which reviewed contemporary, historical, and paranormal romance mainly, and The Crime Cove, which focused on reviewing true crime and crime fiction. Kat has also published works in the past and understands the labour involved in publishing. These experiences have given her a unique perspective when it comes to understanding and balancing an author's needs and desires in book marketing.
Kat also has a Bachelor of Commerce and 20+ years of experience in operations management, finance, entrepreneurship, and relationship management.
